1. What is Spotlife and what is it for?

Spotlife is a digital platform that allows you to explore, share and discover unique places and experiences. You can create personalized maps with your favorite spots, connect with people with similar interests and discover special places recommended by other users.

2. How can I join the community?

To join the Spotlife community, simply download the app, create your profile and start exploring and sharing your favorite places.

You can connect with other users, discover new spots and participate in events and activities. If you have a proposal or want to become a Spotlife ambassador, write us now!

3. Can I have more than one account as one person?

No, each person must have only one Spotlife account. This guarantees the authenticity and quality of the community. If you need more information, please see our community guidelines or contact us directly.

4. What are the differences in Spotlife between a user and a company?

User accounts and company accounts are no different in terms of app usability and tools for discovering the world. But, apart from the free use of Spotlife maps and functionalities, business accounts have access to additional tools that allow them to meet, connect and promote themselves with Spotlife users who share interests related to their business.

5. What are the Spotlife community rules?

Authenticity

  • Real and Verified Content: Share only authentic experiences and places. Profile verification guarantees the quality and veracity of the spots.
  • No False or Misleading Content: The publication of false, manipulated or misleading information is not allowed.

Respect and Kindness

  • Respectful Treatment: Interact with other members of the community in a respectful and considerate manner. Insults, threats and harassment will not be tolerated.
  • Diversity and Inclusion: Values and respects differences. All users are welcome regardless of their origin, religion, gender or personal preferences.

3. Privacy and Security

  • Personal Data Protection: Do not share personal information without the owner's consent. Respect the privacy of others.
  • Safe Behavior: Do not participate in or promote illegal or dangerous activities.

4. Sustainability

  • Promote Sustainable Practices: Publish content that promotes a sustainable and ecological lifestyle. Help preserve the places you share.
  • Local Business Support: Encourages and supports local businesses and initiatives that contribute to the sustainability of communities.

  • ‍Natural and Organic Advertising: Business promotion must be organic and natural, based on users' real experiences. No spam or intrusive advertising is allowed.
  • ‍Company Accounts: Companies must use the promotional tools provided by Spotlife in an ethical and responsible manner, respecting the interests of the community.

6. What types of content can I share?

The essence of Spotlife is to share places, and each publication must include a location.

In Spotlife, you can share a wide variety of content, always focused on specific locations. In Spotlife, freedom is key. Although it is essential to put a location in each publication, from there, you can share any type of content that reflects your experiences and recommendations. This allows each user to create and personalize their profile according to their unique interests and experiences.

7. How can I interact with other members of the community?

Interacting with other members of the Spotlife community allows you to enrich your experience, learn from others, and build meaningful connections based on shared interests and common experiences.

You will be able to follow other users, visit their places, talk to them through the spots or by direct messages, save places as favorites to visit them physically, like spots... Come and explore, share and interact with the vibrant Spotlife community!

8. How can I report inappropriate content or violations of Spotlife's community guidelines?

At Spotlife, we strive to maintain a safe and respectful community for all users.

If you find inappropriate content or violations of the community guidelines, you can report it here and explain the reason.

9. How can I modify my profile?

To modify your Spotlife profile, follow these simple steps:

  • ‍Accessyour Profile: Log in to your Spotlife account: Go to your profile by tapping the Edit Profile button.
  • Once in your profile, find and select the "Edit profile" option or the edit icon.

10. How can I close my account?
  • Log in to your Account:
    • Log in to your Spotlife account with your username and password.
  • To close your Spotlife account, follow these steps:
    • Go to Settings: Select "Settings" to access your account configuration options.
    • Select the Account Closure Option:
    • In the configuration menu, look for the section that refers to "Account".  
    • Within this section, find and select the "Delete account" option.
    • Confirm your Decision: Spotlife will ask you to confirm your decision to close your account. Read the information provided to understand what closing your account entails.
    • Confirm Closure: Click the confirmation button to close your account. This button may be labeled "Close Account", "Delete Account" or something similar.

Important

  • Data and Content: Be sure to download any content you wish to keep before closing your account, as this action may be irreversible and you will lose access to all your spots, photos and data associated with your account.
  • Communicating with Support: If you have trouble closing your account or need additional assistance, contact Spotlife's support team through their help center or support email.

Closing your account will permanently delete your profile and all associated data. If you decide to return to Spotlife in the future, you will need to create a new account.

11. I have lost my password, can I recover it?

If you have lost your password, you can recover it by following these steps:

  • Click on settings: Then click on Security: then click on recover password.
  • Enter your Email Address:

You will be prompted to enter the email address associated with your Spotlife account.  

Check your email: Spotlife will send you an email with instructions to reset your password. Check your inbox and also your spam folder just in case.

If you do not receive the password reset email, be sure to verify that you have entered the correct email address and that the email is not in your spam folder. If you continue to have problems, you can contact Spotlife's support team for additional assistance.

12. Is there any way to contact the Spotlife team?

Yes, you can write to us directly at ayuda@spotlifeapp.com or from the app in the Write Feedback settings.

13. How can I contribute to Spotlife's growth and development?

You can contribute to the growth and development of Spotlife in several ways. Add and share your favorite places and experiences to enrich the community. Invite your friends and followers from other social networks to attract new users. Your feedback and suggestions on how to improve the platform are very valuable to us. If you are an active and passionate content creator, consider becoming a Spotlife ambassador and gain access to exclusive resources and special events.

Join our events to strengthen the community and increase the visibility of the platform. Report any bugs or problems you encounter so we can fix them. Help promote Spotlife in your social networks and among your circle of friends and acquaintances, your participation is essential for Spotlife's growth!

14. What happens if I do not agree with the decisions made by Spotlife due to a penalty for my behavior?

15. How can I get help if I have technical problems?

You can contact us through the email ayuda@spotlifeapp.com, our technical team will receive your request and we will fix it as soon as we can.

16. Is there any requirement to be a member and to be a creator?

There are no specific requirements to become a Spotlife member. You just need to register with a valid email account and be willing to share and discover places and experiences.

To become a creator, no special qualifications are required. Simply share your favorite spots and experiences, and if your content is authentic and you want to be part of our ambassador program, contact us and we will analyze your case to become an ambassador.

Can I share commercial content in the community?

Yes, you can share commercial content in the Spotlife community. Business accounts are specially designed to facilitate the promotion of businesses and services. These accounts allow companies to interact with their target audience, promote themselves and use specific tools to grow their business. However, it is important that business content complies with community standards and remains respectful and relevant to users.

18. Are there any rewards or incentives for active membership?

Yes, at Spotlife we value and reward the activity of our members. Active users can receive various rewards and incentives, such as:

  • ‍Collaboration Opportunities: The most active and outstanding members could receive invitations to collaborate in special events and activities organized by Spotlife.
  • Monetary Rewards: Spotlife ambassadors have the opportunity to earn a percentage of the platform's annual profits. The more places and experiences you share, and the more interaction you generate, the greater your reward.
  • Invitations to Exclusive Events and Activities: As an active member, you may receive invitations to special events, activities and trips organized by Spotlife.

Being an active member not only allows you to enjoy Spotlife more, but also to contribute to the growth and improvement of our community, while receiving incentives and benefits for your participation.

19. How can I promote my content inside and outside Spotlife?

Promoting your content on Spotlife and outside the platform is essential to reach a wider audience. Within Spotlife, make sure to use relevant keywords, interact with other users, and collaborate with other creators. Optimize your profile with a clear bio and a professional photo, and use real and engaging multimedia content.

Outside of Spotlife, share your spots and experiences on your other social networks, write on blogs and websites, and participate in online forums and communities. Use your invitation code to attract new users and, if possible, collaborate with influencers to increase your reach. These strategies will help you increase your visibility and attract more followers, maximizing your impact on the Spotlife community.

20. Can I use community content in other projects or social networks?

Yes. There is no problem with you sharing Spotlife content elsewhere.

21. What happens if a member of the community violates the rules?

Each case will be analyzed independently, and depending on the seriousness of the infraction will carry a sanction or another. From deleting content, to a few days of suspension to the deletion of the account.

22. Can I publish content in another language?

Yes, you can publish content in the language of your choice. Spotlife is a worldwide platform so you have total freedom to use your preferred language.
